First Principles...

Query: How do I differentiate a function like 2x²-3x from first principles?

Response: Not many examination boards in the UK include this in their Advanced level syllabi. It's an useful technique to learn when encountering calculus for the first time, as it gives a context in which to interpret the differentiation formula for polynomials.

Long Division...

Long Division in Algebra is a topic which often causes problems to students. However, with careful attention to the structure and layout of the method and with practice you can achieve success.

On the video clip, I have demonstrated a worked example of how to proceed.
