Several of this website's documents are in Adobe's Portable Document Format (pdf), so you'll need to install an Acrobat Reader file to be able to download, view or print them.
Why PDF? This has been chosen for this website in order to retain the critically-important formatting and layout aspects of the mathematical notation in the theory sheets, worked examples, homework assignments and tests, which may be corrupted in HTML or MSWord format.
This ensures that when documents are electronically transferred to you by e-mail they are guaranteed to look exactly like our originals when you print them out at your end, using the accepted mathematical notation you are already used to.
The Acrobat Reader is freely available and could already be installed on your PC (e.g. as part of a Windows Operating System).
If you haven't got a copy, though, just click on the 'Get Adobe Reader' icon above for you to download it free of charge directly to your PC in whatever operating system or platform you require.
